NOUN CLAUSE
A. Noun clauses with question words:
The following question words can be used to introduce a noun clause (kata-kata pertanyaan berikut dapat digunakan untuk memperkenalkan klausa kata benda): when,where,why,how,who,whom,what,which,whose.
Ciri-ciri noun clause: To be terletak pada setelah subjek. Kecuali To be_nya do,does,did.
do_want = want
does_want = wants
did_want = wanted (V2)
did_go = went
Example:

1. Where is she? I don't know where she is.
2. What is Wahyu doing? I don't know what he is doing.
3. What does she want? I don't know what she wants.
4. Where did she go? I don't know where she went.

B. Noun clauses with who,what,whose + be :
A noun or pronoun that follows main verb be in a question comes in front of be in a noun clause (kata benda atau kata ganti yang mengikuti kata kerja utama dalam sebuah pertanyaan muncul di depan berada dalam klausa nomina).
Example:

1. Who is the boy? I don't know who the boy is.
2. Whose pen is this? I don't know whose pen this is.

Jika tidak ada subjek maka To be akan tetap atau tidak berubah.
Example:

1. Who is in the office? I don't know who is in the office.
2. Whose pen is on the desk? I don't know whose pen is on the desk.

C. Noun clauses, which begin with if or whether
Jika sebuah pertanyaan diawali oleh To be maka untuk menjadi "noun clause" ditambah dengan if atau whether sebelum subjek.
Example:

1. Is Maria at home? I don't know if Maria is at home.
2. Did Juna go to Mexico? I don't know if Juna went to Mexico.

Menggunakan "or not" (mempertegas)
Jika bentuk noun clause menggunakan if maka kata "or not" terletak di akhir kalimat. dan jika menggunakan whether maka kata "or nor" terletak setelah whether.
Exemple:

1. Is Maria at home? I don't know if Maria is at home or not.
2. Is Maria at home? I don't know whether or not Maria is at home.

D. Noun clause which begin with that
A noun clause can be introduced by the word that
Example:

1. I think that Ms.Weiss is a good teacher.
2. I think that the money is in the left hand.
